Alcohol Recovery & Relapse Prevention in Vermont
Rewiring Habit Loops & Healing Underlying Anxiety
Achieving physical sobriety is only step one; staying sober requires healing the emotional triggers and anxiety loops that drove the behavior. Brandon Passmore, PMHNP-BC combines psychiatric medication support, nervous system regulation, and Heart-Centered Hypnosis for sustainable recovery.
Acute alcohol withdrawal is a serious medical event. Abruptly stopping alcohol when physically dependent carries dangerous risks, including grand mal seizures, severe autonomic instability, and delirium tremens.
Enmuse Health is an outpatient psychiatric telepractice and does not provide acute medical detox. For individuals experiencing active, severe physical dependence, we strongly recommend completing medically supervised inpatient detox at an accredited hospital or residential detox facility first.
Our Role: Once you are medically detoxed and physiologically safe, we provide the essential outpatient follow-up care, non-controlled medication stabilization, and clinical hypnotherapy to prevent relapse, quiet breakthrough cravings, and resolve the core emotional triggers.
Anchored by More Than 15 Years of Active Sobriety
Too often in addiction treatment, patients feel stigmatized, reduced to a clinical chart, or lectured by practitioners who have never navigated the raw vulnerability of recovery. At Enmuse Health, your care is guided by Brandon Passmore, PMHNP-BC—who brings over a decade of psychiatric clinical experience anchored by more than 15 years of continuous personal active sobriety.
We provide a warm, non-judgmental partnership. We understand the mental exhaustion of trying to moderate, the private shame of relapsing after high-stress days, and the reality that drinking was often an attempt to self-medicate untreated social anxiety, neurodivergence, or trauma.
Anti-Craving Pharmacotherapy
We prescribe evidence-based, strictly non-controlled medications (such as acamprosate, naltrexone, and autonomic stabilizers) that reduce alcohol cravings and restore neurochemical balance.
Subconscious Habit Rewiring
Heart-Centered Clinical Hypnosis reprograms the automatic cue-routine-reward habit loops that associate 5:00 PM or social tension with reaching for a drink.
Treating Root Anxiety & Trauma
Without alcohol numbing your feelings, raw emotions surface. We treat generalized anxiety, panic, and depressive exhaustion so you feel grounded in your everyday life.
The Post-Detox Critical Window
Statistics show that the greatest risk for relapse occurs in the weeks directly following acute detox. When patients leave inpatient facilities without immediate, specialized psychiatric support, returning to familiar environments, work pressure, and relationship stress frequently triggers old behavioral loops.
We bridge this gap with weekly or bi-weekly telehealth appointments across all 14 Vermont counties. Through compassionate psychiatric follow-up, sleep architecture restoration, and hypnotic subconscious reprogramming, we help you construct an unshakeable foundation for lasting sobriety.

Clear clinical guidelines regarding outpatient alcohol recovery, insurance, and medical safety.
Do you provide acute medical detox from alcohol or benzodiazepines?
No. Acute withdrawal from alcohol or benzos carries life-threatening physiological risks that require 24/7 medical supervision and telemetry. We recommend inpatient hospitalization or licensed detox centers for acute withdrawal. Enmuse Health specializes in the essential post-detox outpatient phase to prevent relapse.
Do you prescribe controlled substances (like Valium or Ativan) for alcohol recovery?
No. Passmore Psychiatric Nursing Associates operates strictly on a non-controlled medical model. We do not prescribe Schedule II–IV controlled substances. We specialize in evidence-based non-controlled anti-craving medications (such as naltrexone or acamprosate) paired with clinical hypnotherapy.
Is this service 100% confidential?
Yes. All telepsychiatry visits, messaging, and health records are encrypted and protected under federal HIPAA and Vermont state confidentiality laws via Healthie EHR.
Can I use my health insurance for alcohol recovery care?
Yes. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont and Cigna Healthcare. Sessions are billed under standard psychiatric medical evaluation and management codes.
